BlazeNewz gathered that the official visit which was aimed at engaging the aggrieved members of the party, deliberate and seek a lasting solution on how to best fill the gap of differences emerging within factions, and to end hatred among individuals of common goals.

Speaking at the meeting, Baraje urged members to be wary of agents of distraction and division, saying the APC-led administration which has failed the people in no small way could be very desperate and ready to do anything regardless of danger.

He, also, warned members, especially the youths, of being conscious whenever reacting to media propaganda and dispiriting daily news, adding that jobless people who keep passing themselves off as journalists even when it’s evident that they are not licenced or trained for such a profession are all round in town.

He appreciated the role of the party leaders and stakeholders in promoting peace and harmonious relationship amongst the members in the local government, emphasizing that the way and only way the party could move forward and achieve all of its set goals is to be law abiding and upright.

Members of the committee on the reconciliatory exercise include its scribe, Alhaji Saba Musa, Alhaji Atanda Zoro, Hon. B. F. Ishola, Sir Bisi Fakayode, Amb. Sheikh Abdulazeez, Alhaji Adamu Gene, Alhaji Dabarako Mohammed, Hon. Sikira Anako, Alhaja Saarat Adebayo, Alhaja Jinatu, Mr Moses Awan, Dr. Ruth Adimula and the youth representatives who are also members of the committee’s secretariat, Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode and Nurudeen Muhammed.

However, the party members, after the local government reconciliation committee and party have submitted the interim report and post 2019 election review report to the committee respectively, extolled the team for a job well done, saying, every member of the party is ready to lay their hands on desk for the success of the party in the coming elections as this could be the only viable way to give the people a better life different from what the masses have pityingly gone through in the last couple of years in the hands of hardship driven APC led administration.

Speaking in their respective opinion, some of Ilorin West stakeholders, including youths and women who spoke during meeting, commended the Saraki-led National Reconciliation and Strategic Committee for giving Nigerians another reason to adopt the party in 2023 general elections, saying the committee has renewed the confidence of the people in the party with its gestures to democratic principles and rule of law.
