One Year Anniversary : Akire Of Ikire-Ile, Oba Ogunkojo Charges Residents To Be Security Cautious, Appreciates Their Supports

The Akire of Ikire-Ile in Olaoluwa Local Government of Osun State, Oba Olatunbosun Abdulazeez Adebamiji Ogunkojo has called on all residents of Ikire to be more security conscious, saying the protection of their lives and properties is more paramount to him.

Oba Ogunkojo in a press statement made available to newsmen on Friday said the security situation in Nigeria calls for every citizen to be vigilant.

The Akire, who is also prepare for his one year anniversary on the throne of his forefathers extended his invitation to all sons and daughters of Ikire-Ile at home and diapora.

Part of his release reads “I want to thank the Almighty God for His mercy over my live and in the lives of my people at Ikire-Ile since my ascension to the throne. Already programme of activities have been lined up for the celebration of my one year on the throne.

“On the 29th of March 2021, there will be a football match competition, the following day, there is going to be a medical checkup for our aged people while the grand finale of the celebration shall hold on Saturday 3rd of April 2021.

“I am inviting everyone to come and grace the occasion with me. I also thanked his imperial majesty the Oluwo of Iwo Oba Adewale Akanbi Telu I for his good leadership role as the paramount ruler of this.

Appreciating his subject the monarch said “I thank Ikire-Ile people for their hand of cooperation with him since his ascension to the throne of his forefathers a year ago.

He also called on investors to consider Ikire-Ile the best place for them to investment, saying “they won’t regret doing so because the environment is very conducive for any investors” adding that “there is enough available land to accommodate their investment.”
