Aremo Adelabu, Ademola Adesina Laud Osun United’s Performance Against Go Round

Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Youth and Sports, Aremo Gboyega Adelabu and the President of Osun United, Chief Ademola Adesina have praised the fighting spirit of the Omoluabi Giants which enabled them grab a point in Omoku, Rivers State against Go Round on Saturday in the week 1 fixtures of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Aremo Adelabu who, through a telephone call, monitored the contingents’ journey from their take off in Osogbo to Omoku on Friday till the end of the match, described the performance as commendable owing to results of the previous visits of Osun United to Omoku which have been in favour of Chief Felix Obuah Boys.

“I keenly followed the live update of the match on social media and it was a cracker of a game. I salute the courage of our boys, their fighting spirits and the tactical prowess of the coaching crew which earned the team a sumptuous point away from home.

“I enjoin the players to keep up the momentum in the subsequent matches because the task ahead is huge for any team that will eventually grab one of the group’s ticket.”

President of the club, Chief Ademola Adesina while speaking with players and the coaching crew through a telephone call shortly after the match praised the team for putting challenges they are going through behind them to snatch a rare point on the road.

“I am glad that you made us proud by going to the lion’s den and caging it against all odds. I understand your plight and what you are going through but like I always say, tough times don’t last but tough people do. I urge you to keep working hard to be one of the best teams in the group.

“As a management, we shall continue to see to your welfare, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Together, we shall have the reason to smile at the end of the league,” concluded the former Super Eagles Midfielder.
