Osun Outgoing LG Chairmen Told Not To Drop Their Official Cars

The Governor of Osun State, Mr Gboyega Oyetola has told the 30 outgoing local government chairmen and council leaders not to border themselves by droping their official cars.

BlazeNewz gathered that the All Progressives Congress, APC, LG chairmen and council leaders whose tenure ends on Saturday, February 6,2021 are expected to drop their official cars being government property.

But Mr Oyetola in his directive through a letter signed by Mr Femi Ogundun for Coordinating Director of Local Government Affairs and Inspectorate Department on Wednesday told the outgoing LG chairman and council leaders to leave office with their official cars.

The letter reads; I am directed to inform you that Mr. Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has graciously approved that the Council Chairmen and Leaders of the Legislative HoUses in the Council take their official vehicles purchased for their official use jointly by ALGON ((Muscle) and Toyota Camry (big daddy) away with them at the expiration of their tenure of ofice on 6h February, 2021.

“Similarly, all Councils are expected to have functional Legislative Buses for the use of the members of their various Legislative Houses.

“However, in cases whhere Councils purchased official vehicles for members of the Legislative Houses and Secretaries during their tenure of office, Mr. Govemor also approved that such members be allowed to take the vehicles away at the expiration of their ternure on 6 February, 2021.

“I am to thank you”.
