Adamu Garuba Storms Ooni’s Palace, Seeks Redress Against Continual Attack On Fulani Herdsmen

The presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019, Mr Adamu Garuba, on Wednesday stormed the palace of the Imperial Majester, Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.

According to a reliable source who confined in BlazeNewz said the visit of Mr Garuba to the Yoruba monarch was part of attempt to mediate with the king in ensuring that unwanted attack on Fulani herdsmen in southwest get halted before it degenerate into ethnic crisis.

Mr Garuba, who is also a Fulani had in some of his comments appealed to Nigerians not to regard all fulanis as criminal.

He had also in many of his reactions maintained that good amount of Fulani herdsmen are law abiding citizens, urging the Yorubas to intensify efforts in fishing out the criminals among the cattle breeders.

But Yoruba human rights activist, Sunday Igboho has taken the fight upon himself going around some part of the southwest by chasing Fulanis to return to north.

However, many of the Fulanis residing in some part of Oyo and Ogun have reportedly fleed their settlement in fear of being attacked by angry Igboho led team.
