Uganda Election : 13 Days After, Military, Police Continue Siege On Bobi Wine’s Residence

Thirteen days after the general election , presidential candidate of the National Unity Platform,, NUP, Bobi Wine, his wife and a minor have been kept under house arrest.

BlazeNewz gathered that Mr Wine building is surrounded with the presence of heavy military, police, including helicopter monitoring him from the air.

The President-elect, Yoweri Museveni is adamant in keeping Mr Wine under house arrest despite ruling from a high court that the action is illegal and unconstitutional.

In a tweet Mr Wine said “we’re still stuck with an 18 months old baby who had paid a visit to her auntie (my wife ) before we were raided and besieged.

“The Dad has been denied access to her. We have run out of food and milk. No one is allowed to leave or come into our compound.

In another tweet he said “This has been the situation at my house these past days.

“Aside from the military and police surrounding us, military and police helicopters have been consistently hovering over our privacy rights. Cowards! #WeAreRemovingADictator”
