15-Year-Old Girl Raped, Impregnated By Octogenarian In Osun

An octogenarian grandpa, Rafiu Abimbola has allegedly raped and impregnated a 15-year-old girl in Isundunrin, Ejigbo local government area of Osun State.

According to information obtained from an online medium THESOURCE, the perpetrator allegedly raped the minor on several occasion before she was impregnated.

The victim whose name could not be mentioned because of her age was said to has been threatened by the suspect not to disclosure the illicit act between them with anybody in other not to run mad.

Narrating the incident mother of the victim confirmed the girl is four-month pregnant after she took her to a private hospital in Ejigbo for pregnancy test.

The family of the victim reported the suspect to Ejigbo Police Divition, Osun and was arrested on Monday but later released the same day.

When contacted on phone the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ejigbo Police Station to confirm the case, DPO Adeniji Olufemi said he would prefer our correspondent to meet him one on one in his office to discuss the inquiry.

According to Olufemi, “If you need an information please come down to me one on one and if there is anything I will repose confident in the person am talking to physical” he said
