The Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, has lauded Governor Gboyega Oyetola for extending dividend of democracy to the city of Ede.
Oba Munirudeen, speaking during the official commissioning of the 2.1km Ede Township Road, said Governor Oyetola deserved an applaud for strengthening the fortunes of Ede Town, adding that the newly reconstructed road is a plus to the development profile of the town.
The monarch said “The entirety of Ede has sent me to thank you for this great favour that we have received from you. We wish you peace in your government, strength and good health to govern us on in continuum because we desire to see more good works in Osun State.
“I don’t think it is fair to try to interrupt a government that has done so much in a short time and aspiring to do more. This kind of government does not deserve to be interrupted because it is a good and progressive government.
“I have known him for a long time, and I can attest that God has endowed him with calmness and intelligence required of a good leader”, Oba Munirudeen stated.
