Oyetola’s Aide , Ayantunji Tasks Market Women On Regular Sanitation, As He Joins NGO In Community Service



Special Senior Assistant on Students Affairs and Social Mobilization to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji have charged traders in Orisunbare market, Osogbo to ensure their environment is clean at all time.

Comrade Ayantunji made this charge, on Saturday, as he joined a non government organization, Homeless Not Hopeless Africa on a day cleanup community service.

The governor’s aid maintained that Oyetola led administration will always prioritize the wellbeing of Osun residents through good governance and provision of accessible health services at all level.

The SSA said in achieving a healthy society free of malaria and typhoid market men and women must take it as civic responsibility by not allowing their environment to be unkempt.

Convener of the NGO, Mr Fatokun Matthew Babafemi said they see the need as residents of the state to embark on community service saying this led them to the cleanup of Orisunbare market, Osogbo.

According to Babafemi, cleaning our environment regularly and depositing trash to the appropriate place will save populace from unwanted sicknesses.

Babafemi , who told our correspondent that the cleanup of Orisunbare Market was their maiden community service, said the NGO has taken it as a duty for monthly activity.

He added that they will be extending the cleanup service to different market in the state capital including other public gatherings.

He urged traders in the state to always keep their environment clean, saying if they can ensure that their environment is free of dirt government will stop spending heavily on health sector.
