EndSARS : No Cultists, Thugs Were Contracted For Our Protection – Olawale Bakare

RevolutionNow members who also partook in Osun #EndSARS protest have debunked allegation of contracting thugs and cultists for their defense against hoodlums attacks, saying they are known for peace.

This was made known by the Osun chapter leader of the #RevolutionNow movement, Olawale Bakare popularly addressed as Mandate during a Radio interview with Rave FM on Thursday.

Bakare said since the beginning of RevolutionNow struggle in Osun they have not at any moment caused trouble with residents of the state nor engaged security agencies.

He stressed that their struggle is based on the quest of a better Nigeria for all, where citizens can strive in their respective endeavor.

Speaking on their demands he said “Reverse of petrol pump price, hike of electricity tariff, improvement in the standard of living, youths engagement and empowerment. ”

He also dismissed the rumor that he was kidnapped by the Osun State Government during the struggle of the #EndSARS, saying hoodlums were after him.

Recall BlazeNewz reports that the two WhatsApp admin of the Osun EndSARS movement, Babawale Popoola and Queen Fisayo Aderemi had ealier disassociated themselves from the ideology of #RevolutionNow.

However, Bakare stressed that both Popoola and Aderemi joined the #EndSARS struggle at the middle.

When asked if he called for the scrap of OYES, Bakare said his call was for the Osun government to review operation of OTRAM, which he accused of extorting motorcycle riders in the state.
