A magistrate court sitting in Osogbo has remanded two female Suspected Pro EndSARS protesters, Suliyat Tajudeen(20) and Ayomide Abdulazeez (20) in Ilesha Correctional Centre over alleged attempt assassination on Governor Ggboyega Oyetola during protest in the state.
The police prosecutor, John Idoko charged the two on a six-count charge bordering on attempted murder, malicious damage, burglary and stealing.
However, the two pleaded not guilty to the offence preferred against them.
The counsel for the two, Nurudeen Kareem applied for their bail in the most liberal term.
The prosecutor opposed the bail application made by the Counsel on the ground that they will jump bail, if granted considering the overwhelming evidence the police have against them.
The Chief Magistrate, Dr Olusegun Ajilara ordered them to be remanded at Ilesa correctional centre.
He adjourned the case to 20 November 2020 for the hearing of bail application.
