Sanwo-Olu To End Life Pension For Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode, Others

Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday announced his intention to put an end to life pension of ex-governors of the state and their deputies.

Sanwo-Olu made this known while presenting Lagos State 2021 appropriation budget at the state assembly complex.

He said Public Office Holder (Payment of Pension Law 2007), which provides for payment of pension and other entitlements to former Governors and their Deputies will be abolished.

Ex-governors like Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Akinwunmi Ambode, Lateef Jakande and their deputies will all be stripped of the life pension if implemented has planned by the governor.
