Akiriboto-Oke Youths Commend, Oyetola, Ooni Over Their Support On Emergence Of New Ogboru

The Akiriboto-Oke Youths Development Association in Ayedaade local government area of Osun State have appreciated the state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, the Ooni of Ife who is also the Permanent Chairman of the state Council of Obas and Chiefs, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, the Chairman, Ayedaade local government, Hon Adeyeye Adewale Abdlateef and entire residents of Akiriboto-Oke community for their complete support and contribution towards the success of the installation of the new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke, Oba Adewale Adekanmi.

The Chairman of the association, Prince Adefa Aworinde made this known unbehalf of the entire youths in the community in a statement made available to newsmen.

According to the entire youths who promised to associate themselves and work with the new traditional ruler in the community, the emergence of Oba Adekanmi is a good omen towards the upliftment of the area.

The youths emphasised that, there is an authority given to Akiriboto-Oke community by the administration of the former governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to be wearing beaded crown which led to the new Ogboru of the community to wear the crown as becomes the new monarch.

The youths who described the ancient Akiriboto-Oke community as peace loving enjoined residents to shun any act that may lead to chaos while they should disregard any information that is against the installation of the incumbent traditional ruler of the town duly installed by the Ooni of Ife.

“We know that new dawn has come to Akiriboto-Oke community with the emergence of our new king, Oba Adewale Adekanmi as he has promised of turning around the fortunes of the area through his empowerment programme which is commencing any moment from now to all the youths, women, aged people, artisans and farmers in order to reduced poverty among the residents and also to compliments government efforts” the youths added.

The youths however, enjoined the residents of the ancient Akiriboto-Oke community to give maximum support to the newly installed Ogboru to enable him to succeed.
