Osun APC Supporters Clash , Councillor Aspirant, Rafael Brutalized



Some suspected loyalists of the incumbent chairman of Oriade Local Government Area, Osun State, Honorable Bunmi Obeisun of the All Progressives Congress, APC have unleashed attack on supporters of Honorable Akinwale Bimbo Lawanson.

BlazeNewz gathered that Hon. Akinwale is a chairmanship aspirant of APC in Oriade LGA who is looking forward to take over the council leadership from Honorable Bunmi Obeisun.

It was also learnt that the attack was launched, on Saturday, in Ijebu-Jesa area of Oriade at the burial ceremony of Hon. Sola Adewumi’s in-law was between APC members who belong to different camp.

Narrating, Hon. Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael,who is ward 11 councillor aspirant of APC said the attack was targeted at the camp of Hon. Lawanson led by the youth leader of Oriade LGA, Wale Elewa .

Rafael further claimed that Wale Elewar is a diehard loyalist to Hon. Bunmi Obeisun.

An eyewitness told our correspondent that the suspected hoodlum who is a loyalist of the incumbent local government chairman, assaulted Rafael on his way when he wanted to go and get an envelope.

“The APC thug claimed to be APC Oriade youth leader harassed the ward 11 councillorship aspirant because he did not support his principal Hon. Bunmi Obeisun.

Hon. Akinwale Bimbo Lawanson, however, called on police to investigate those behind the attack and brought them to book.

When contacted on phone,Hon. Bunmi Obeisun said he was unaware of the clash between his loyalists and supporters of Hon. Akinwale Bimbo Lawanson.

He also disassociated himself from Wale Elewa saying ” he is not my loyalist but APC party member.”
