Electricity/PMS Hike: Buhari’s Govt Has Turned Nigerians To Beggars- Waheed Saka



A popular human rights activist in Osun, Comrade Waheed Saka on Friday said that led administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has ridiculed and turned majority of Nigerians into beggars.

Comrade Saka said this during a peaceful protest against hike of electricity and petrol pump price staged by coalition of civil society groups and National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS in Osogbo.

Comrade Saka maintained that President Buhari failed Nigeria citizens by putting more pressure on their living standard.

He lamented that Nigerians did not voted for President Buhari in order to subject them to hardship.

“If the government cannot remove from our burdens, they should not put more pressure on an average Nigerian” he said

“Our people have been reduced to bergers, even reduced to begging for peanut.

Speaking on the coming together of civil society groups and students’ body, NANS said “This is not a one man revolution, it is a resistance of group of people. ”
