APC Lifts Ban Of Suspension On AbdulRazaq’s Commissioner For Information, Oshatimehin, Three Others

The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Kwara State chapter has lifted ban of suspension on Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s Commissioner For Communication and Information, Adenike Oshatimehin Afolabi and three other party stalwarts.

It would be recalled that Oshatimehin was suspended in June this year from APC at her ward level over alleged involvement in anti party activities, gross disrespect to the party ethos and leadership, BlazeNewz reported.

Others involved in the suspension are, Dr. Ade Afolabi, Mr. Segun Ogunshola and Mr. Yinusa Afolayan.

However, APC, in a statement signed by the chairman of the Party in Oshatimehin ward, Ora and other stakeholders officially lifted the ban on the serving commission.

The statement reads:

“The under listed signatories and all the members of the All progressive Congress (Ora Ward) under the able leadership of the Ora Ward Chairman, Mallam Kareem Taofiq Bolajoko wishes to state as follows:

“That the earlier Suspension of the below members for alleged anti-party activities and disrespect for other party members, dated 19th June,2020 involving Adenike Oshatimehin Afolabi; the then Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development but now Hon. Commissioner for Communication and Information as well as Dr. Ade Afolabi, Mr. Segun Ogunshola and Mr. Yinusa Afolayan is hereby lifted.

“This decision was taken at the party Secretariat in Ora Ward after further investigations which revealed that members suspended were not found wanting on any grounds.

“Meanwhile, the Hon. Commissioner promised to do her best and carry everybody along under the prevailing circumstances.
We also reached an understanding to the effect that all APC members in Ora Ward will work together for the progress of the party in our ward and for the upliftment of Ora Community.

“We won’t failed to acknowledge the role played by His Excellency, Mr. Kayode Alabi, Deputy Governor of Kwara State, The late Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor, Kwara state (May his soul rest in perfect peace), other notable stakeholders of our great party and Ora Community.”
