OWMA Felicitates Oyetola, Residents On Occasion Of Osun @29

As Osun State clocks 29 on Thursday, the Acting General Manager, Osun Waste Management Agency, OWMA, Sanitarian Fatai Oladosu Oyewole, has joined the entire people of the state to felicitates with the governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on the celebration.

The OWMA boss who made this known in a statement made available to Journalists in Osogbo said it was in those days that people are saying the state is crawling, adding that, with the efforts of Governor Oyetola who has turn around the fortunes of the state, presently Osun is competing with other states in the country in terms of his people oriented programmes.

According to Sanitarian Oyewole, “August 27th of 1991 when the state was created was like yesterday, and for us to be celebrating the day, the celebration is not completed without commending the founding fathers of the state who jointly fought the fight and won the battle then towards having our own state which we are celebrating today, I say kudos to them”.

” As we are celebrating our state, definitely, we must felicitates with Governor Oyetola for his transformation and people oriented programmes for the betterment and upliftment of the people of the state.

“Also, there is no way the congratulatory message will not be extended to the traditional rulers in the state, the cabinet members, the law makers, mama and baba lojas and every citizens of the state” he said.

The OWMA boss in the statement enjoined the people of the state to continue to embrace good environmental practices by stopping indiscriminate refuse dump in an unapproved site.

Sanitarian Oyewole, emphasized that, people of the state should always patronize assigned contractor for refuse collection at affordable fee and clear all drains and river courses to prevent flooding.
