Hijrah 1442: Engr Ibraheem Congratulates Oyetola, Osun Muslims On Occasion Of New Islamic Year



The Muslim faithfuls in Osun State have been urged by Engineer Taiwo Sina Ibraheem to use the period of the new Islamic Calendar 1442 to pray for the progress of State.

Engineer Ibraheem, who is a grassroot politician of Ejigbo in his congratulatory message to Muslims which he personally signed on Thursday and made available to newsmen, appealed that the period of this years Hijrah work-free day should be used to seek for divine favors of Allah on Osun .

According to him ” Osun needs more prayer for her economic projection in order to return stronger from the effect of coronavirus pandemic.

“This years Hijrah celebration is significant because the world is just coming out of COVID-19 which has stumbled many countries’ economic globally.

He, however, called on all Muslims of the state not to relent in their unflinching support for the state government under Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

He also congratulated the governor for the success recorded by his administration in curbing the spread of COVID-19 and saluted the state health workers for making themselves available to fight the virus.

Speaking on All Progressive Congress, APC, Osun chapter, he charged party members at all level, especially Ejigbo state constituency to work for the success of the party.
