Osun Police Seeks Synergy With Online Journalists For Sustainability Of Peace, Security

The Osun State Police Command has sought for a stronger synergy, cordial relationship between the police and the Osun Online Media Practitioners Association(OOMPA)in sustaining peace and security in the State.

The State Commissioner of Police, Undie J. Adie demanded the working relationship the on Friday while hosting the online media practitioners in his office at the state command headquarters in Osogbo, state capital of Osun.

Speaking, the Osun police boss assured that the police will continue to give a listening ear and attend to the media by providing timely information to enhance accurate reportage.

CP Adie however, promised to strengthen robust relationship between the police and media in sustaining peace and security in the state which will be of public interest.

“Without media, members of the public may not know what is going on in the society, let us all play our role in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. The police is ready to work with you, we are all here to serve the members of the public and to ensure security in this state” he said.

The Chairman of the association, Jare Tiamiyu who led team of the online media practitioners to the police command assured CP Adie that his colleagues will continue to remain professional in their media business.

Tiamiyu lauded efforts of the state police in sustaining the peaceful atmosphere which Osun has for long known for among other states in Nigeria.
