AbdulRazaq, A God Sent To Kwara- Olanrewaju




The Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has been described as God-sent, given the spate of infrastructural developments across the state, within one year in office.

The State Commissioner for Communications, Alhaji Muritala Olarewaju gave this description today, when members of Actualisation Team paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

The Honorable Commissioner noted with concern that things were worst for the people of the state before the arrival of Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration, through which the situation has turned round positively.

Alhaji Olarewaju said worker’s salaries are being paid latest by 25th of every month as well as payment of counterpart founds of World Bank assisted projects, for the benefits of the state.

He also disclosed that this administration has embarked upon the renovation of dilapidated class rooms across the sixteen Local Government Areas of the state, construing new ones where necessary.

Further to this, Olarewaju disclosed that all the state’s owned media are now functioning fully as against the earlier skeletal work they were earlier performing, adding that Baruten FM radio will soon be on air, while the Herald will commence daily production.

He gave kudos to the current administration especially in the areas of road rehabilitation across the state and above all, ensuring security of lives and prosperity of the entire citizens.

While thanking members of the Actualisation Team for the visit, the Commissioner assured them of an appropriate collaboration where necessary to assist them in achieving their goals.

The State Coordinator of the Actualisation Team, Ibrahim Kehinde Mogaji acknowledged Governor AbdulRahman for being youth friendly in his cabinet and applauded his government on its laudable achievements within one year in office.

Mogaji affirmed that the sixteen years of the previous administration is no match for Governor AbdulRazaq’s less than one year administration in terms of projects implementation, calling on the people of Kwara State to give him absolute support.

He said members of his Team cut across the sixteen Local Government of the state, ready to support the current dispensation by publcizing it’s activities as government of the people, as the team has the achievements on record.
