Just In: PDP Aspirant Steps Down For Obaseki, Declares Support Ahead Primary Election

A gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state, Engr. Gideon Ikhine, has stepped down for Governor Godwin Obaseki ahead of the Thursday primary election.

Ikhine made this known during a rally at his campaign office on Monday in the state capital, Benin City.

Speaking to his supporters, Ihkine said he will be supporting Governor Obaseki for a second term and urged his followers to work for the re-election of the incumbent governor.
