Another SS 1 Student Allegedly Raped In Kwara By P-Man President, Adebayo

Rampant incidence of rape cases in the country is assuming a dangerous dimensions as a popular musician based in Offa has allegedly raped a 15-year-old SS1 student in Ojoku community of Oyun Local Government Area, Kwara State.

Report says the victim,(name withhold) was assisting her mother to hawk snack delicacy popularly known as Puff-puff within Ojoku community when Alh. Maroof Adebayo, (aka Marufu Alujo), a fuji musician, who is the President of Performing Musician Association of Nigeria, P-MAN in Kwara State reportedly bought Puff-puff on credit on the road and he lured the victim to his house with the pretext to pay money. On getting to his house, Marufu Alujo locked the door behind the victim to rape her after overpowering the young girl.

According to our source the case had been reported at Police Post in Ojoku from where it was transferred to the Oyun Divisional Police Headquarters in Ilemona.

Some residents of the community described Marufu Alujo as a known notorious rapist perpetrating the evil act in different communities in Offa and Oyun Local government areas.

Our source further said, “In the past, he is reported to have had serious problems with law enforcement over similar cases, some of which had led to his incarceration at the State’s Correctional Facility.”

“At the moment, Marufu Alujo who had been released on bail is currently bragging around the community about his invincibility.”

“The entire community of Ojoku land and its environs are seriously living in fear of this notorious rapist because he is said to be well connected with some top officers in the State’s headquarters of the Nigeria Police in Ilorin. In fact, one of his ‘ elder sister’ is said to be a Senior Police officer at the state police headquarter. This is one of his strength of invincibility and the reason why he has remained so brazen in his notoriety.”

All efforts to communicate with the DPO in charge of Oyun Divisional Police Headquarters was abortive as the number was not going through. According to the source the investigation is still ongoing. But this medium shall continue to follow this case up till the victim get justice or otherwise
