10,000 Defectors : Kwara APC Reacts, Describes Decampees As Mischievous Members

Issues have been trailing the Kwara State branch of the All Progressive Congress (APC) after the emergence of AbdulRazaq Abdulrahman as the flag bearer of the party, who aftermath became the state executive governor.

Today, the Kwara State APC got back on the headline again as it was widely published by both print and online news medium that over 10000 members of the ruling party decamped to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The decampees Led by one Mall. Manzuma Abdulmalik Kawudogo, said ” they have decided to leave APC because the present government and party hierarchy doesn’t follow the Constitution and manifestoes of the party which cause conflicts among party leaders and members.”

He was also quoted to have said “After waiting for one year of Governance the truth has prevailed which necessitated our movement because we cannot compromise the failure of the party and the Governance of the state”, Kawudogo said.

The Kwara State APC Pro said “It’s purely a fake news, Kwara North has never gotten better under any government like this government. The Kwara North has the secretary to the state government, House of Assembly Speaker, they also hold most of the current dispensation juicy political appointments. Their roads are being constructed, their people are empowered amongst many other things.

Meanwhile, one of the PDP party chieftain who pleaded anonymity said “they’re remnants of their Bukola Saraki structure in the Kwara North who had earlier decamped to the APC to get appointment but met disappointment by not being considered for any political position.”

He also said “There are also some of them that are inveterate loyalist of the Hon Minister Of Information, Alh. Lai Mohammed. They’re disappointed with the way the Governor neglected their leader and did that to threaten the Governor to shift ground to embrace the party leadership particularly the chairman BOB.”
