Lawmaker Hails Health Workers On Fight Against Covid-19

Member of the Osun State House of Assembly, representing Ede South state constituency, Honorable Olaniran Akanfe Atidade has lauded medics of the state working round the clock in efforts to contain coronavirus pandemic.

In a message obtained by BlazeNewz on Thursday, Atidade commended the state health workers’ commitment on the fight against the pandemic, noted that they are worthy of celebrating.

The lawmaker further explained that while residents remained in their respective residence as a result of the state order by Governor Gboyega Oyetola, health workers are risking their lives to rescue those that have been infected by the deadly virus.

Atidade message reads

“I, Hon. Olaniran Akanfe Atidade, Osun state House of Assembly member representing Ede South state constituency, commend the efforts of our Doctors, Nurses and other health workers who have been working round the clock to curtail the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic in our dear state.

“No doubt, Covid-19 is a deadly pandemic that is spreading globally, but our health workers have risen to the task in curbing the spread.

“They are risking their lives for you and I to be saved but that has not deterred them from performing their onerous task of saving lives of those tested positive and put necessary mechanism in place to see that pandemic being curtailed. We know and appreciate the value of service you are rendering for humanity.

“Thank you for the sacrifices you are making, every day and especially during this pandemic. Your dedication, commitment and courage deserve our deepest gratitude and admiration.

“To whom much is given, much is expected. I pray that the Good Lord will be with you, Guide you and heal our land In Jesus Name.”
