Osun Hunters Commend Oyetola For Appointing Amitolu As Amotekun Corps DG

The Hunters Group of Nigeria, Osun State Command (HGN .ODETODE) on Sunday commended the state Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola for appointing a front line activist, Comrade Amitolu Shittu as the Director General of the Amotekun Group.

This commendation was made by the Commandant and Admin Officer of the State Command, Chief Hammed Nureni Soladoye and Asiwaju Adeleke Oluwatoyin in a Press Statement jointly signed, issued and made available to Newsmen in Osogbo.

The Hunters group who described the appointment of Amitolu by the governor as a round peg in a round hole said, the governor would not have any regret in doing so.

According to the hunters, “Appointing the man Amitolu as the Director General of Amotekun Group is a good omen towards the upliftment of the group as well as protection of life and property not only in Osun State but outside”.

The hunters said, Amitolu who is the State Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC until his appointment would not disappoint the people in all ramifications.

“We Hunters Group of Nigeria, Osun State Command (HGN .ODETODE) are very happy with Mr Governor for appointing our own as the Director General of Amotekun Group, Comrade Amitolu Shittu.

” We are using this medium as well to assure Mr Governor that the new DG would not let him and entire state down while we promise of demonstrating our unalloyed support to the office of Comrade Amitolu Shittu for him to achieve in office”, the statement added.

The hunters extends their congratulatory message to the new Director General while praying that, Almighty God will uphold and support him in the new office.

The HGN however reiterated their readiness to support the state government in tackling any criminal activities at any time.
