NGO Puts Smile On Faces Of Benue Residents, As It Gives Food Items To Widows, Less Privileged

A Non governmental organization in Benue State,Bag Of Hope which is also known as Food Bank For The Widows And Less Privileged have given out assorted food items to some selected widows in Makurdi, Benue state capital to cushion the effect of coronavirus disease which has brought abundance of hardships on families all over the world. 

Delivering the donations to the widows on behalf of the donors who are living in USA and Canada,  Evangelist Favour Enewa,founder of Tivid Orphanage Home in Benue state thanked receiver of the items for embracing the initiative with good fate.

Evangelist favour encouraged the widows to remain steadfast in prayers and should not see their condition as the end of the world for them, adding that people all over the world are making efforts to close the gap which the absence of their husbands have created leaving the widows without helpers. 

“The donor said from time to time, they will be organising training to teach the widows how to make soaps, detergents as well as give scholarships to their children to get education”

The crippled where also among the widows who got the food donation.

The various food donated includes,  Rice, Beans,  spaghetti,  indomie, Garri, a box of matches,  sachet of Maggie,  toiletries among other things carefully selected to last a family of six for a week and some days.

Mrs Patricia Ogaba  who spoke on behalf of the widows who received the food donations thanked and prayed God to replenish the efforts of the donor in a million fold.

And he in fact bought me dinner simply because I discovered it
