Covid-19: Ben Ber Foundation sensitizes physically challenged persons,distributes sanitiser, nose cover, food item

As part of efforts to compliment Osun State Government in containing covid-19 pandemic at the period of stay indoor,a non governmental organization, Ben Ber Foundation has distributed anti-bacteria hand washer, sanitiser, nose cover to physically challenge persons across the state.
The distribution, which was done in a small gathering in the state capital, Osogbo of less than 15 people included leader of the spinal cord injury group, visually impaired group, physically challenge group, albino group and deaf and dumb group.
The foundation also gave twenty chickens to each group, directed their representatives to share it to members of their groups.
While speaking, chairman of the foundation, Funmi Abokede said the foundation saw the period of total lockdown of the state as a need in assisting people living with disabilities, those she described need more attention from well-being citizens as the nation is going through a difficult time.

She also disclosed that the foundation took the decision to sensitize leadership of people with disabilities in the state in order to educate them on how to keep themselves safe at this trying time when killer virus, Covid-19 is spreading to all party the country.
She however urged wealthy citizens to use their God gifted wealth to assist the vulnerable in the state.
Chairman of the joint association of people with disability, Osun chapter, Onitiju Kehinde lauded the foundation for it kind gesture to physical challenge people of the state.

He further noted his assurance that with provisions given to his members they will remain safe from contracting Covid-19.
Also the Chairman of spinner cord group, Olayemi Lucky expressed his gratitude to the NGO for extending its humanitarian services to people with disability in Osun, saying despite his group has been long ignored by the public.
He also called on well-being citizens,public, private and non governmental organizations to emulate Ben Ber Foundation by assisting physically challenged people in the state.
Lukman Adewale, representative of albino impaired group, Adelek Jelil, representative of visual impaired group and Alhaji Tadese Ismail, who is the chairman of physically challenged persons in Osun all appreciated the NGO and charged its management not to relent in this kind gesture.
