The State Government of Osun under the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Thursday said it is ready in industrializing, providing houses at affordable cost and supporting farmers of the state in agriculture process.
This was made known at the Official unveiling of Central City Industrial Hub held at Central Black for Culture, Osogbo, the state capital of Osun.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the project, Architect, Muyiwa Ige noted that the project came up as a result of the Osun economic summit in bringing investors into the state.
Ige said the project is targeted at low come and middle earners by providing houses for residents of the sate within the central senatorial district of Osun.
He further explained that Akbeeb investment limited with Osun New Towns And Growth Area Development Authority have secured 5,000 hectares of lands cut across Iragbiji, Ikirun, Oba Oke and Oke Ajala of the state.
The speaker of Osun, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye represented by Hon. Desmond Ojo, chairman of land committee called on investors to partner with the Central City Project in making this initiative achievable.
He however assured that the state assembly will continue to make laws which can support the usage of lands in Osun
