The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has debunked reports in some quarters that it will start paying corps members N30,000 allawee.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, denied the report during an interview with PRNigeria on Wednesday, July 17.
“When there is an increment and we have been notified, we will communicate the heartwarming decision to our corps members through appropriate channels.
“And certainly the management will make sure that our corps memebers are paid according to the new increment” he said.
The NYSC DG urged corps members to only source information from the NYSC verified social media accounts.
