2019 : Oluwo Felicitates with Nigerians, Calls for Love, Checkmate of Ritual Killings, incompetent Leaders

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has felicitated with Nigerians and the world at large on the successful transition to the beginning of new year, 2019.

He eulogized Nigerians for their steadfastness, beseeching them to vote out confirmed corrupt leaders to sustain the sanctity of the country’s democracy.

As contained in a new year message to Nigerians as made available by Oluwo’s press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem, I congratulate Nigerians for waiving the odds of 2018 and successfully transited to the new year, 2019.

It is a grace to be grateful for. Let’s endeavor to support the government programs and policies aim at promoting our collective well-being. Doing so is one the hallmarks of patriotism. Praying and drumming support to the activities of the ruling government and constructive criticism are strengths to our collective survival ”

Oluwo further lamented the killings of innocent citizens for rituals, appease Nigerians to spread the web of love among one another to checkmate the fatal menace.

According to the statement ” Loving your fellow as yourself is one of the natural traits of human. Love is enough to make us happy. The fear of God and love for the country and her citizens are instruments of peaceful, ritual killings free environment ”

Oluwo also tasked Nigerians to ensure credible poll in the 2019 general election, noting that electing competent and corrupt free leaders will strengthen our democracy in the world map. 2019 present another bright opportunity to elect leaders. We are the architects of our destiny. Any party or candidate without anti-corruption campaign should be voted out. Such party and Candidate should be rejected like a waste. Nigeria deserves better to move forward”

“Our thumbs should be directed at a resourceful direction such that the tempo of established corruption fight/enlightenment will be doubled to rescue the country from looters. Looters, irrespective of their political parties should be strongly rejected with our votes.
