The Federal Anti Robbery Squard on Wednesday clashed with National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW) of the Osogbo-Lagos park Old garage.
The Federal SARS barricaded the garage early of the day around 8:30 AM shooting tear gas to dislodge members of the NURTW.
While shooting sparrodically into the air one member of the NURTW known as Afeez was shot and rushed to Lautech Hospital Osogbo led by the FSARS.
One of the driver of the park who requested to remain anonymous said that some unknown hoodlums who are not their members engaged in fighting near the garage on Tuesday night.
The anonymous said that “the clash led to why the DPO of Dugbe and FSARS barred the garage from usage.
He further said “over 15 members have been arrested by the security without lunching attack on them”
While the garage was under control of the security men, the chairman of the garage Mr. Kazeem also known as ASIRI was taken away by the FSARS for interrogation.
Effort to speak with Mr. Kazeem after returning from the FSARS to know his own side about e clash was abortive
